In 1786 the reconstruction of the Royal Palace came to an end: stone galleries were completed on three sides of the park. But lack of funds interrupted construction of a further stage of the foundation. To protect it from the weather to the downtime, the Duke of Orleans has allowed the construction contractor to build a wooden shed on three rows of shops connected by two covered passageways. Trade rows are called by the name of Orleans Gallery Palace Duke of Orleans owner. Gallery of stone and metal, 65 meters in length and 8.5 meters in width, overlapped luxurious glass dome has replaced wood in a fire 1828-1829 respectively. It housed twenty-four stores.
