The so -called old market is actually not at all old. It was built in 1928 according to the Arch. Emile Mauge. The then mayor of François Jeanne tried to decorate the city and attract as many resort as possible. The townspeople remained unhappy: the market cost them too expensive. They even drove the mayor with his team in the next election. But the guests of the city liked the market and gradually turned into a popular tourist object.
