Old Town Square in Old Town aka Stare Mesto, Prague, Czechoslovakia on February 24, 1978 during political propaganda demonstration to mark 30th anniversary of 1948 the Communist control of Czechoslovakia and creation of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. Photograph taken from top of the clock tower of Old Town Hall. Ranks of Communist Party members gather and march with red banners with Marxist slogans. Most Czechs detested the Soviet influence and CSSR communism and socialist rule but the state orchestrated the fake patriotic event as a celebration.
