Midi Bridge (pont du Midi - «South») - one of the two existing bridges on the same line (through the Rhone River, was still by Sonu). The first pair of bridge was built in 1847-1849 years. Bridges several times changed the name, yet have not received it in 1871. In 1889, the bridge over the Rhone was demolished because of its dilapidated, and in its place was built in the photo depicted a metal trohprolotny Bridge a total length of 209 and 20 meters wide. July 17, 1916 was renamed Galleni bridge (pont Gallieni). This bridge was demolished in 1962, and in 1965 in its place, a new bridge, still exists today.
