The view goes left over the dome of the Hedwigskirche to the Marienkirche, behind it the tower of the Georgenkirche on Alexanderplatz. The center of the picture is dominated by the castle dome over the Eosander portal, and the scaffolding also shows the upcoming completion of the town hall tower. On the right edge of the west plant and tower of the Nikolaikirche, it is rebuilt in 1878. In the middle in the foreground the neo -Gothic building of the Friedrichswerderschen Church, somewhat behind it the construction academy and its counterpart another scaffold on the new construction of the coin on the south side of Werder's market in 1868. Completed house on the corner behind the Catholic Church 1/French Straße.
