The construction of Finland's first nuclear power plant. The reactors were manufactured at the Izhora plant, and turbines, generators and other equipment were also manufactured in the Soviet Union. The station is equipped with security systems and management of Western production. The construction part was completed by Finnish companies. The first reactor began operation in February 1977.
