The name of this and the neighboring images writing in German, because while shooting city was part of Austria-Hungary. The bridge was built in 1851, is named in honor of Elizabeth of Austria, became empress after her marriage to Emperor Franz Joseph I. After a fire in 1915, it began to require frequent repairs, so in 1933 was replaced by a new bridge (named after Miroslav Miroslav Tyrš)
