Lyon - The disaster in the Saint-Zhan.V night from 12 to 13 November 1930 there was a landslide slope of the hill Fourvière (Fourvière), in which several buildings were destroyed and 40 people were killed (including 19 firefighters are on the path of the landslide firehouse, 4 policemen and 17 residents of houses 6, 8, 10 and Tramassak street). The immediate cause of the landslide were called heavy rains in the autumn of 1930. The victims could have been more, but on November 12 the chief engineer of the city of Lyon, Mr. Chalumeau (Chalumeau) ordered the partial evacuation of the upstream slope Shazo Hospital (hôpital des Chazeaux).
