View on the Cathedral of Amiens and the church St. Germain from the Rue St. Germain at the end of WW2. The city had suffered massive destructions by german bombings. The Cathedral had luckily been spared. Also the small church still stands today. Today site of UNESCO world heritage, the Cathedral is the largest one of France in terms of its inner volume, and considered as a perfection of Gothic architecture.
