Jarkurgan minaret. (1108- 1109 gg.) Termez. Jarkurgan minaret is located 60 kilometers from Termez, Jarkurghon District, village Minor. The first monument of measurements and examined in 1927 BN Zasypkina. Then VL Vyatkin read the inscription containing the name of the builder. The inscription in the rectangle on one of the edges of the barrel according to the name of the builder "Ali son of Muhammad from Sarakhs". In 1938, as part of Takeo VA Shishkin, with the participation Pugachenkova further investigated minaret (read labels, identification of the basement and foundation structures). In 1948, under the leadership of VP Petrov on the monument conducted strengthening work, AK Lazarev made detailed measurements (materials stored in the archive GUOP). The date on the plinth - 502 AH (1108/09 biennium.) Read by VA Shishkin, attributed to them at the time of the construction of the minaret.
