Cars of the American 1269th Engineer Combat Battailon (1269th Engineer Combat) at the pontoon crossing the Rhine in Worms. In the foreground are soldiers of the battalion company “C” and the Dodge car (Dodge WC-51). The crossing was named after the commander of the 7th American Army, Lieutenant General Alexander Patch.
