The Disappearance of Central School

Central School used to be a school in Lawrence, right across the street from the original Lawrence High School. The original photo doesn't have a specific date, it just said it was sometime between 1900 and 1920. The photo is from a postcard that was part of the Lawrence history archive collection, specifically one dedicated to schools in Lawrence, at the Spencer Research Library. Now, unfortunately, the building has been destroyed and all that's left is a parking lot for a bank. A bit sad!
