The Grands Magasins du Louvre are a historic Parisian department store which was founded in 1855 and closed in 1974. Originally part of the Grand Hôtel du Louvre, the building was acquired gradually by entrepreneurs Alfred Chauchard and Léonce Faré for the department store. Shown here is the building during the "Fête de la Victoire" after the victory in World War I.
