Photograph caption dated June 6, 1957 reads "Foundations for Kaiser Steel's fourth blast furnace at Fontana, Calif., were poured this month when 2,200 cubic yards of concrete were sluiced into steel-reinforced forms. The continuous pour was made in record time of 7 hours and 7 minutes using 49 ready-mix trucks, according to Kaiser Engineers, Division of Henry J. Kaiser Company, prime contractors of the $194,000,000 expansion program at the plant."
