Close-up view of two walls meeting at a corner of the Subway Terminal Building. The wall on the right is real on the left is a painting that mimics the architectural detail on what was once a plain brick wall. This huge work of art stretches over a block long and rises twelve stories above Fourth and Hill Streets below. This 560' x 28' trompe l'oeil (trick of the eye) was painted in 1986 by artist Jeff Greene, using silica-based mineral paint.
