About 1870. After the contract dated June 3, 1754 between Geneva and Duke Karl Emmanuel Savoy and Sardinsky, Seymaz will become a new border between Geneva and her neighbor. The Protestant arrival of Shen had to abandon his temple, which was on the site of the current post of Shen-Bur, on the left bank of Seimaz. Zhang-Louis Kalandrini, a mathematician and physicist, made up the plans of a new building, which was built in less than two years. On May 7, 1758, after the consecration, he sounded the temple bell in Shen-Bur. The edition was designed according to the elliptical plan and its original silhouette is striking. He is preceded by a direct facade, crowned with an arched pediment with wide fins framing a watch with a blue-gold dial. An additional bell tower rises above the roof, and the Tuscan colonnade portico occupies the entire width of the facade. The strict interior of the oval shape is illuminated by high semicircular bay windows.
