Brasilia. Praça dos Tres Poderes, 1977. In the foreground is an 8-meter bronze sculpture "Os guerreiros" (warriors) painted by Bruno Georgi. This work, also known as "Os candangos" (the name by which the people of Brazil is widely known), is a tribute to the workers who built Brazil. It appears to modify Niemeyer's architectural forms (note the corner of the Palacio di Planalto in the background). Brasilia. Praça dos Tres Poderes, 1977.
