It is an architectural monument of the 19th century and one of the oldest Polish cemeteries in Ukraine, along with the famous Lichakivskyi cemetery in Lviv. Land under the cemetery was bought back in 1799. Cemetery known familial graves of famous dynasties Gentry Dombrowski, Manyushko Chatsky. Here are the graves of the first Polish military pilot who was killed in battle, Bronislaw Matsievich world famous composer and pianist Franz Liszt pupil Julius Zarembskogo General Wladyslaw Presser. Near the recently restored chapel (in Ukrainian - a chapel) of St. Stanislaus Catholic clergy are buried, since the middle of last century. Many unique monuments in the cemetery in the Soviet era have been destroyed, all the tombs broken into and ransacked by looters. The cemetery is closed for burials since 1976.
