Peace Tower Ottawa (officially the Victory and Peace Tower) is a 55-meter clock tower located in the center of the architectural complex. The current tower was built on the site of the original, destroyed in 1916 during a fire. Today, the tower is considered the main attraction and symbol of Canada. In particular, the building can be seen on the front side of banknotes in denominations of 20 and 50 Canadian dollars.
