Ipswich Corporation Transport Leyland Atlantean buses, Crown Street, Ipswich, circa 1968. Ipswich Atlanteans 73 & 75 in original condition. The building behind Bus 73 is "Electric House", taken over by the Corporation's Electric Supply business in the 1930s. When the trolleybuses started using this location regularly from late 1936 they displayed the destination "Electric House" and this remained the case until the 1980s. (Until nationalization of the electric supply industry in 1948 town's trolleybus system was a subsidiary part of the Electric Supply business).
