Lyon - Monplaisir Palace Square Lumiere and Lumiere shkola.Villa (villa Lumière), publisher of postcards called "Palace", was built by Antoine Lumiere (Antoine Lumière) - industrialist and father of the inventors of cinema Auguste and Louis Lumière brothers (Auguste et Louis Lumière) - in 1899 in the immediate vicinity of the family factory Société Lumière. Villa and the factory belonged to the heirs of the Lumière until 1967, after which they were sold. Since 1982, the villa occupies Lumière Institute (Institut Lumière) - a public organization dedicated to the dissemination and preservation of film heritage.
