Exterior view of Los Angeles Fire Department's Engine Company No. 28 fire station, located at 644 South Figueroa Street. This Mission/Spanish Revival style building, which cost approximately $60,000 to build in 1912, was designed by architect John Parkinson. In 1989 it became the popular Engine Co. 28 restaurant, whose menu is inspired by traditional firehouse cooking.
