The view of the Jägerstraße goes from left to right: In the Antuz, No. 49/50, the commercial building of Johann Abraham Henckels, which set up a branch of his Solingen twin works in the building in 1852 in 1770. In addition, the specialty business for tea, vanilla and spirits from the "vanilla king" Johann Ludwig Rex operates here. The house passed into the possession of the Mendelssohn & Co. bank in 1889 and was replaced by a new building in 1891-93. The subsequent two-storey residential and commercial buildings (No. 47/48 and 45/46) are remnants of the 18th century buildings, they are demolished in 1886 and the land rebuilt. On the right, the representative main telegraph office, Jägerstraße 42-44/corner Oberwallstraße, which was built in forms of the Italian High Renaissance in 1877/78 in forms of the Italian high Renaissance.
