Herrenteichswall with Viennese café and Haarmann fountain. The Haarmann fountain inaugurated in 1909 is a monument dedicated to the miners of Osnabrück. It bears the name of its founder, the steelworks Director and Senator August Haarmann. During World War II the steel figure was dismantled, but not melted. After the war it was re-erected, since then the fountain was restored several times.
