The marquee and sculpture at 2nd floor level facade of the West Coast Theatre at 333 East Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach. Marquee: "Wild in the Streets". Architects: Meyer & Holler The West Coast Theatre opened on July 7, 1925, and was situated next to the Fox Imperial Theatre. Closed in November 1985, this Fox theatre had a large going away party before it was to be razed. The last film to play this theatre at that party was “Footlight Parade”.
