The castle was built in 1758 for Jean-Baptiste de Pontcarré. The city authorities bought the building in 1857 for the City Hall and shkoly.Seychas school was in a separate building. And in the former castle were the mayor's office, the local museum and the south wing - biblioteka.Zamkovy park that we see in this photo, has not survived: it sold more in 1847, now in its place banal street parking merii.Snimok - about 1900
