Rue Massilon with the Notre Dame in the background, at the time of the great flood of Paris at the end of January 1910. At that time, the water of the Seine rose 8m above the normal level and flooded the streets. In the streets near the Seine, the inhabitants could only move by boats and provisional rafts.
