Bourges Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Bourges) is a Roman Catholic cathedral, dedicated to Saint Stephen, located in Bourges, France. The church is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Bourges. Start of construction of this grand structure dates from the end of the XII century, consecration of the cathedral took place on May 13, 1324, but work on the building continued until the XVI century. For its unique architecture, expressive sculptures and magnificent stained glass windows of the XIII century in 1992 the cathedral was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Article listed among the monuments of the national heritage of France
