Looking northeast from across Wilshire Boulevard, showing a branch of Brentwood Savings, located at 3143 Wilshire Boulevard, as well as a nutrition center, a jeans store, and a small TV and appliance business. Years later, all of the structures located in this block between Shatto Place and S. Vermont Avenue were replaced with a mixed-use development built over the Wilshire/Vermont Metro Red Line station.
