The Théâtre Graslin with the eponymous square in Nantes. Both were named after Jean-Louis Graslin, the landowner. The Classicist theater was built in the 18th century and rebuilt after a fire in the Napoleonic era. The square was and is one of the most important places in the city. It has recently been redesigned and decorated with 8m high lanterns (similar to those in the theater), flower boxes and a water fountain.
