Known variously as "1775 Broadway" and the "Newsweek Building", the 26 story building was built as the headquarters for the General Motors Corporation. G.M. remained there until 1968, when it moved to its new building on Fifth Avenue. The building recently underwent a major renovation, getting reclad in glass and steel as "3 Columbus Circle".
