“Nye” Grand Hotell slik det fremsto etter brannen i 1950. på gressplanen foran huset var bysten av byens grunnlegger Rikard Kaarbø plassert. Den ble siden flyttet til Rikard Kaarbøs gate da denne ble gågate. siden ble bysten plassert foran bankbygningern på Rikard Kaarbøs plass. The "new" building of the Grand Hotel appeared here after the 1950 fire. At the bottom of the frame in the foreground is a bust of the founder of the city, Ricarda Corby. Later, this bust was moved to a street named after him (Ricarda Corbeux street) and was there as long as it was pedestrianized. Now he stands in the square of his name in front of the bank building. To our time, the hotel has again changed its appearance.
