Luhačovice
Spa Luhačovice. Already in 1668, Brno doctor Jan Hertod from Todtenfeld drew attention to the curative salt waters in the vicinity of Luhačovice (Fig. 161) near Uherské Brod. The owner of the manor then walled off two of the springs and built guest houses next to them. In 1783, an inn and the first spa house with baths were added to them. Today's core of the spa consists of the Spa House, a building by Dušan Jurkovič from 1901-04, the modern Social House built in 1937-38 and a covered colonnade
