Vietnam > District 1 > Ho Chi Minh CityNotre Dame Cathedral was built in 1880 by the French colonialists. The cathedral was built in 3 years. It is built of red brick on the site of an ancient pagoda. All materials were brought from France and, despite the rainy season in Saigon, the color of the building has not changed for so many years. Two towers with iron spiers are located on the edges.
