Ipswich, Electric House, Late 1960sA long vanished scene at Electric House. Regent Vs Nos. 40 and 26 are in view, allowing comparison with the Park Royal bodies fitted to the earlier Regent Vs (like 26) and the East Lancs bodies fitted to the later buses. Tower Ramparts School was demolished in the late 1970s, although the bus shelter by bus 26 survived well into the 1980s and the construction of the shopping centre. Trolleybuses last ran here in 1963 but several traction poles are still evident in this view.
