On the night of 8 to 9 July 1927, the village became the victim of a natural disaster. During the ten-storm fell 209 mm precipitation. Swollen rivers and landslides completely destroyed the road and 32 houses. Element but took only what he stood directly in its path. Buildings erected in the right place or feature underpinning resist him. According to records killed 2 people, 1 cow and 24 goats. The damage was then estimated at 10 million crowns. Auxiliary Committee Lovely Les issued a series of photographic postcards. The proceeds from their sale was intended for residents damaged by floods. The consequences of natural disasters helped remove the Czechoslovak Army Corps of Engineers. The storm caused significant damage even in the nearby Telnice, and Libouchec Povrly.
