The bridge was built in the 40-50s of the 17th century. The name of the bridge is associated with Khoja Bakhbud, a rich citizen, a merchant and “Zaraptuhuzesi” (treasurer) under King Rostoma, who built this bridge (or restored, reconstructed). A four -shaped bridge built of stone and brick, was about 70 meters in length and 6 meters in width. Malay the width of its carriageway did not allow two crews to settle on it, so in 1856 the old stone parapets removed and arranged wooden sidewalks with the railing, which are outside the bridge.
