Reims Cathedral (fr Notre-Dame de Reims.) - Gothic cathedral in the French city of Reims. Was built in the ground (except for the west facade) in 1211-1311.Reymssky Cathedral is one of the most famous Catholic cathedrals - and as a shining artifact of Gothic architecture, and as a symbol of the most important events in European history. Since the time of the late Middle Ages to the XIX century, the cathedral was the coronation site of nearly all French monarchs. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
