Opened on September 30, 1916, Palace Theatre seated 850 people and was popularly known as the Newsreel Theatre. When it was the News-Palace Theatre it was a Fox house. In its later years, it ran as a grind house. It was closed in 1984, and razed in the late-1980’s.
