The photo is signed by Palazzo da Mula, but only a small part is visible from the Palazzo Da Mula Morosini on the left. In the center of the picture is the Palazzo Barbarigo, built in the 16th century. At the end of the XIX century, the owners of the palace became the owners of one of the glass factories of Murano. They abundantly decorated the facade with bright mosaics, which caused extreme displeasure among the aristocratic neighbors, who considered such a decorative move a violation of the appearance of the Canal Grande and bad taste.
