Francia > Nouvelle-Aquitaine > Dordogne > Boulazac Isle ManoireThe castle built at the beginning of the XIV century is surrounded by a moat. The lifting bridge, round towers in the corners, a very high residential building and a very narrow courtyard indicate the defensive history of the building. The restoration of 1878 increased the number of teeth on the walls. The blue-bellied blueberry in shape was apparently built in the XVII century. It relies on eight columns. This castle differs in that it has always belonged (and still belongs) to the same family D'Arlot de Cumond from the moment of its construction, although different owners do not always bear the same surname (the castle crosses and on the female line).
