Avenue des Gobelins around 1853 -70 It was constructed as part of Haussmann renovation of Paris. The name comes from the famous Gobelin manufactory being located here. In the distance one can see the dome of the Pantheon (the National mausoleum). Today, many shops, restaurants and cinemas are located in the street.
