Faeuste monument by Gerhard Lichtenfeld and others (1969-71). Demolished on 24 July 2003. Photo taken from upper end of Leipziger Strasse where it used to join the pedestrian tunnel leading to the Hauptbahnhof. Blue steel benzene ring supports for pedestrian bridge over Francke Strasse (since removed) can be seen in the background.
