Photograph caption dated August 24, 1960 reads, "The story of 72-year-ol mansion is told in assessor archives elegant Doheny homes are now property of the Catholic Church." When Estelle Doheny died in 1958, she willed the land to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This structure has since been demolished.
