Toxic gas cloud hovers over Simi Valley

A deadly toxic cloud looms over Simi Valley at the intersection of Los Angeles Avenue and Madera Boulevard. The square-mile chlorine cloud formed after a leak at a textile plant and forced 11,500 residents out of their homes and into the rain, injuring 18 people and causing major traffic snarls.
