View of the corner of Brand and Broadway in 1924. Note there are no street lights as pedestrians, automobiles and a bus cross the streets. Many businesses may be seen on both sides of the street including railroad tracks which run down the middle of this wide street. A large seven-story building is on the right. 100 North Brand was built in 1923, and was the first six-story building in Glendale. The building has received an historical landmark award and stands as testament to the grandeur of the 1920's.Wood, brass and marble moldings complement the building's interior. The building blends classic architectural style with contemporary interior design and up-to-date amenities.Today, 100 North Brand looks as glorious as it did in 1923.
