Seminars tserkovTashkentskaya teachers' seminary was established in 1879 to train school teachers of children of Russian immigrants. Her building was in the 1881-1887 years. reconstructed from an apartment house of Colonel Tartakovsky. In 1898 the project Alexey Leontyevich Benoit to the western part of the building was added seminary house church of St. Alexander Nevsky. The church was closed in the 30-ies of XX century, it demolished the dome, but the building itself continued to be used for different purposes. Seminary and church buildings were completely demolished by the Uzbek authorities in 2009. The former church was near the Square at the monument to Amir Temur in the center of Tashkent
