Aerial view of the Ford Motor Company, Mercury Plant site located at 8900 E. Washington Boulevard in Pico Rivera view is looking west. The plant is located on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard (left corner) and Washington Boulevard (bottom right corner). Rex Rd. is slightly horizontal at middle Paramount Blvd. is middle right to upper left the Rio Hondo flows from upper right to top left AT & SF railroad tracks are horizontally at upper center. The 157-acre manufacturing facility was dedicated on May 6, 1948 the plant closed in 1980 and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 1982. Photograph dated November 4, 1960.
