The market interesting name - the market red children. It is so named because it was previously near the orphanage, and the children who live in it, and went into the red capes. Market building itself has historical value and is considered a historical monument. The market opened in 1615, then to feed the new Marais district, built in the XVI century. King Henry IV of France was planning to break up there area, where beams would diverge streets named for various French provinces. The beginning of the project was laid here preserved to this day the neighboring streets of Brittany, Poitou, etc., But until the end it was not possible. And here is a small market, located in the indoor building and equipped with a well and a stable for horses has become a successful enterprise.
