A Motorcar + trailer (Lowa) traversing the Karl-Marx-Straße in the heart of town, the new heart after the allied bombers did their job to force the country on its knees. Socialistic style architecture but superb. The so called: Plattenbau - pre fabricated concrete slabs or LPS - large-panel system building. A lot of pedestrian space but less shopping and measured on today's abundance not that bad at all though the ones walking there for sure dreamt of the ultimate luxury.
